Programs

Funded execution across USMC, NAVSEA, and ONR.

MacroVation is executing four active SBIR/STTR programs. Public summaries remain high-level; detailed scope is shared under NDA with qualified government and prime-contractor partners.

01 Active programs

Four active SBIR/STTR programs.

Each program draws on MacroVation's capability pathways — composite tooling, controlled material-effect delivery, and material-enabled recovery systems.

USMC SBIR Phase I Active through Feb. 2027

Controlled Material-Effect Delivery & Prototype Hardware

Need
Controlled stand-off material effects for non-lethal counter-personnel, vehicle, and unmanned-system missions.
Approach
Delivery-architecture and prototype-hardware development integrated with flow control, target interaction, and measured validation.
Output
Prototype delivery hardware and program-ready evidence evaluated against sponsor-defined requirements.
USMC / Navy SBIR Phase II Active

Non-Lethal Biofoam & Stand-Off Delivery Systems

Need
Rapid, controllable non-lethal material effects for operational environments where conventional force options may be inappropriate.
Approach
Advanced expanding-foam formulation combined with delivery-system engineering, flow control, target interaction, and measured performance validation.
Output
Prototype material and delivery systems evaluated against sponsor-defined performance, safety, deployment, and removal requirements.
Transition
Selected for the 2026–2027 Navy SBIR Transition Program.
ONR Active

Warfighter Recovery Systems

Need
Material-enabled systems that support measurable warfighter recovery and readiness.
Approach
Polymer chemistry and materials characterization developed into prototype hardware.
Output
Prototype hardware and measured performance data against recovery and readiness outcomes.

Hardware and data on every milestone.

Programs produce prototype hardware and measured performance against sponsor-defined requirements at every milestone, from early formulation through prototype demonstration.

02 Partner & transition

How the ecosystem fits together

Each entity in the platform has a specific role. Being clear about the boundary between them is part of how it operates.
